I am from Cape Town, South Africa originally. I married my lovely wife Athena on a beach there back in 2003. I went to school in Cape Town and did my undergraduate and graduate work at the University of Cape Town. I have been writing software for around 25 years (yes... I was one of those annoying kids ), and I am a huge computer graphics enthusiast. This eventually took me to Silicon Valley in California, where I spend my time making GPUs run faster.
